Bitcoin whale accumulation meets $760M in ETF outflows – Is BTC’s recovery at risk?

Share

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded net outflows of approximately $760 million since October 7th, reversing the strong inflows seen the previous month. Buyers who acquired BTC six to twelve months ago need prices to reach approximately $88,000 to break even, while those who purchased one to two years ago require prices around $99,500. Record outflows of $487.07 million on October 7th pushed total net assets down to $104.83 billion. Meanwhile, Binance whales have withdrawn over 15,000 BTC, with monthly averages rising from 18,459 BTC in August to nearly 30,000 BTC. Long-term holder realized losses have declined 85% since late August, but a sustainable BTC recovery requires renewed ETF buying interest and a breakout above the $88,000 breakeven level.
