San Francisco-based startup Vesta has raised a $30 million funding round led by Conversion Capital. Founded in 2020 by Mike Yu and Devon Yang, the company offers a loan origination system powered by AI agents that automate document review and underwriting decisions. According to the company’s figures, lenders reduced origination costs by 25% in 2026, while AI agent usage on its platform grew by 988% over three months. Vesta’s clients include Pennymac, Verus Mortgage Capital and New American Funding, and the platform integrates with nCino, Blend and Argyle.
