Shiba Inu (SHIB), one of the largest meme coins in the crypto space, is now available on Solana via the Sunrise gateway. This integration allows users to access and trade the ERC-20 SHIB token directly within Solana’s DeFi ecosystem without leaving the environment. Sunrise, developed by Wormhole Labs, creates a canonical version of the asset on Solana with the issuer’s approval, preventing liquidity fragmentation. SHIB remains an Ethereum token and Shibarium is not moving to Solana. At press time, the meme coin was trading around $0.0000057 with no significant price reaction to the news.
