A Zombie CryptoPunk variant, #3609, sold for 875,000 USDC on October 1, 2026 through the GONDI platform. This is the biggest Punk sale since Ape Punk #1021 went for $2.58 million in August 2025. The NFT was used as collateral for an active 365,000 USDC loan, which was automatically repaid during the transaction. CryptoPunk #3609 is one of only 88 Zombie variants in the 10,000-piece collection. This price remains below the previous sale of the same NFT in May 2025, when it sold for 440 ETH, worth approximately $1.09 million.
