This policy explains which personal data is processed when you use cryptoinfo.ch, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, for visitors from the European Union, the GDPR.

Data we process

  • Browsing: our host (Hostinger) keeps technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, date and time) to keep the site secure and working.
  • Contact form: name, email address and message, used only to reply to you.
  • Newsletter: email address, used only to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Third-party services and cookies

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC): anonymised audience measurement (page views, visit duration, device type).
  • Google AdSense (Google LLC): display of advertising. Google may use cookies to serve ads, which may be personalised. You can manage your preferences at adssettings.google.com.
  • Google Fonts: loading of fonts.
  • Gravatar (Automattic): display of avatars.
  • CoinGecko: loading of the icons in the price ticker.

These services may receive your IP address and some may set cookies. Some are located outside Switzerland, notably in the United States; these transfers rely on the safeguards offered by these providers (standard contractual clauses, Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

The share buttons (Facebook, X, Pinterest, WhatsApp) are plain links: no data is sent to these networks unless you click them.

Retention

Data is kept only as long as needed for its purpose: contact messages until your request has been handled, newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe, technical logs for the period applied by the host.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, via our contact form. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, the data protection authority of your country.
