OpenZeppelin has officially launched its audited codebase on the TRON network with two new npm packages adapted for TRC-20 and TRC-721 token standards. The security firm’s widely used smart contract libraries are now available to TRON developers, with compatibility for Hardhat, Foundry, and TronBox. TRON has surpassed $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume and hosts more than $94 billion in circulating USDT supply. The integration stems from a 2025 TRON DAO proposal to establish a formal ecosystem stack built on OpenZeppelin’s infrastructure. S&P Global’s announced acquisition of OpenZeppelin just days before the launch adds institutional credibility to the security tools now available to TRON developers.
