Bitcoin’s halving progress has reached 61%, according to on-chain analyst Root. The next halving is estimated for April 13, 2028, when the miner reward will drop from 3.125 to 1.5625 BTC. Bitcoin is currently trading at $86,099, up 0.86% in 24 hours, and hit a high of $87,397, its highest level since late January 2026. Bitcoin ETFs saw over $1 billion in inflows in a single day, the biggest one-day flow since October 2025, with BlackRock’s IBIT leading at $381 million. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong expects a Bitcoin price run-up ahead of the next halving event.
