Helsinki-based startup Verda has closed a $189 million funding round, bringing its total capital raised to approximately $200-219 million. The company posted a revenue run rate exceeding $60 million in Q1 2026 and targets $100 million by mid-year, while remaining cash-flow positive. It operates renewable-powered data centers in Finland and Iceland and holds NVIDIA Preferred Partner status. Founded in 2020 as DataCrunch, Verda plans to expand into the UK, US, and Asia, positioning itself as a European-first alternative to US hyperscalers.
