XRP slides below $1.30 support: Traders turn bearish in the short-term

XRP fell below the $1.30 support level on September 15, recording a one-day loss of 9.82%, dropping from $1.42 to $1.28. Open Interest on futures contracts declined by 23%, falling from $1.128 billion in late August to $871 million, indicating that speculative positions were largely closed or liquidated. Despite positive spot ETF flows in September, the decline in Bitcoin prices and selling pressure in futures markets have weighed on the price. Without a sustained inflow of demand, XRP could continue its retracement toward $1.14.
