Bitcoin Price Prediction: What’s Next After CLARITY Act Delay and Rate Hike?

Share

Bitcoin trades near $76,600, up 1.1% on the day despite two macro shocks in 48 hours. The CLARITY Act failed a critical cloture vote in the US Senate on September 15, coming in at 50-49, well short of the 60 votes needed to advance. The following day, the Federal Reserve raised rates by 25 basis points for the first time in three years, bringing them to a range of 3.75% to 4.00%. The 24-hour trading volume stands at approximately $30.5 billion, suggesting sellers haven’t fully capitulated. Fed commentary in the coming weeks will likely decide BTC’s direction, with support around $72,000 and resistance at $80,000.
