Zcash (ZEC) is closing in on overtaking Hyperliquid (HYPE) for the ninth spot in the cryptocurrency market capitalization ranking. ZEC’s market cap stands at approximately $19.3 billion, compared to HYPE’s $19.87 billion, with a mere $570 million separating them, less than 3 percent. ZEC currently trades around $1,144 but would need to break above $1,178 to $1,180 to dethrone HYPE. This remarkable performance represents a spectacular climb since August when ZEC was worth just $500, while HYPE has lost over 6 percent in the same period.
