XRP Healthcare, a healthcare platform built on the XRP Ledger, is shutting down after a flaw in its XRPH Wallet exposed thousands of accounts and led to approximately $450,000 in losses. The attack affected 4,010 wallets and resulted in the transfer of 267,664 XRP, 23.2 million XRPH tokens and 2.43 million XRPHAI tokens to a collector account. The vulnerability stemmed from a reduction of the keyspace to roughly 2^46 combinations instead of the intended 2^128, allowing attackers to regenerate private keys from public information. The company has advised affected users to abandon credentials generated through XRPH Wallet and move remaining assets to newly created keys. Stolen funds have been traced to an Ethereum address holding approximately 445,198 DAI, and recovery efforts continue despite the operational wind-down.
