Apple launched the iPhone Duo, its first foldable phone, on Wednesday with a starting price of $1,999. The device will go on sale October 23 and features a 5.4-inch exterior cover screen along with a 7.6-inch interior display when unfolded. At just 9.3mm thin when opened, it is the thinnest phone Apple has ever made. The American company is entering the foldable phone market late, with Samsung having dominated the segment since launching the Galaxy Fold in 2019. Pre-orders will begin October 16.
