Samsung SDS, South Korea’s largest IT services firm, became the first Korean organization to join OpenAI’s Daybreak Partner Program during its Real Summit 2026 event on September 8. The company also deepened a strategic partnership with Anthropic, formalized in July 2026, which also marks a first for a Korean firm. Claude Enterprise has been deployed to approximately 70,000 employees across 20 Samsung affiliates, with over one million messages exchanged on the platform. By combining OpenAI’s GPT models and Anthropic’s Claude, Samsung SDS is positioning itself as a one-stop shop for enterprise AI in Korea, offering consulting, security, and deployment services to its clients.
