Uniswap’s record activity meets slower fee growth – What does it mean for UNI?

Uniswap’s activity reached record levels with 40 million weekly swaps, an 86% increase, while the number of unique daily swappers reached approximately 147,000. Cumulative fees paid to the protocol rose from approximately $17 million in early June to over $33 million by late August, but fee growth remained more moderate than the swap explosion. Whales withdrew an average of 7,400 UNI per day from Binance since late May, reducing the immediately available supply on exchange platforms. The UNI token rebounded from $2.48 to approximately $5.14, a 122% increase, and the combination of sustained activity and whale accumulation could support an extension of the rally toward the $7.80 resistance.
