Anthropic launched on September 1, 2026 two new artificial intelligence models for enterprises, Claude Fable 5.1 and Claude Mythos 5.1, specialized in advanced coding, multi-step research, and dense document processing. Claude Fable 5.1 is now available to all API users while Claude Mythos 5.1 remains restricted to invited participants in the Project Glasswing program. Both models support a one-million-token context window with an output capacity of 128,000 tokens per response. Pricing remains unchanged from the previous generation at 10 dollars per million input tokens and 50 dollars per million output tokens, while cache read costs have been reduced to 25 percent of prior levels. This release comes as OpenAI prepares to unveil GPT-6, intensifying competition in the AI sector.
