Immigration and Customs Enforcement awarded TRM Labs a $94.66 million sole-source contract for blockchain analytics tools and support services related to Homeland Security investigations into scams, cybercrime, and illegal digital asset activity. The contract, signed on June 8, 2026 for a one-year period through June 30, 2027, was challenged by Chainalysis, which accuses ICE of manipulating evaluation criteria after the initial Request for Information to unfairly favor TRM Labs. Chainalysis Government Solutions filed a protest in the US Court of Federal Claims on July 27 seeking to halt the contract and require full competitive bidding. TRM Labs has intervened as defendant-intervenor alongside the government, with oral arguments scheduled for September 2, 2026.
