Revolut launched EURR, its euro-pegged stablecoin, on August 26, 2026, for a selected group of customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal. This token, issued by Bridge Building S.A., the European entity of Bridge acquired by Stripe in February 2025 for 1.1 billion dollars, maintains a 1:1 parity with the euro and is classified as an e-money token under MiCA regulations. The corresponding reserves are held in segregated accounts at regulated financial institutions, with monthly audits conducted by independent accounting firms. The rollout begins on Ethereum before expanding to eight other networks including Solana, Polygon, and Arbitrum. Revolut serves over 80 million customers worldwide, with more than 16 million already using its crypto services.
