The latest UK tax data reveals that 240 individuals reported over one million pounds each in crypto capital gains during the 2024-2025 tax year. In total, 17,600 people declared 13.8 billion pounds in crypto disposal proceeds, with total gains reaching 1.38 billion pounds. The average gain per taxpayer was 78,000 pounds, with the millionaire cohort accounting for 717 million pounds. HMRC also sent 81,000 warning letters to suspected crypto tax avoiders, representing a 25% increase from the previous year.
