Malaysian electronics manufacturing services provider NationGate debuted on the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 at No. 243, generating 5.27 billion Malaysian ringgit ($1.6 billion) in revenue in 2024, a 720% surge year over year. Its data computing segment contributed 88% of revenues versus 17% in 2023, while profits reached $35 million, up 163%. NationGate is Nvidia’s sole original equipment manufacturing partner in Southeast Asia, assembling the U.S. giant’s graphics processing units into AI servers. However, the company’s shares have dropped 40% year to date amid investor concerns over U.S. export controls on chips and investigations targeting Malaysia and Singapore.
