Humidifi, one of Solana’s busiest decentralized exchanges, suspended trading on August 22 after an internal incident compromised part of its systems. The platform clarified that user funds were not affected, with the damage limited to its own resources. For a platform that processed peak daily volumes exceeding $1 billion, even a temporary trading halt carries significant weight. Humidifi has not disclosed the size of the loss. Launched in 2025, the exchange has accumulated between $100 billion and $150 billion in cumulative volume and captured between 30 and 40 percent of Solana’s spot DEX volume at its peak.
