Bitfinex has set an August 31 deadline at 10 a.m. UTC for users to withdraw 13 delisted cryptocurrencies, after which standard withdrawals will be disabled. Affected users will then depend on a discretionary manual recovery process that is not guaranteed to succeed, will incur additional fees deducted from recovered amounts, and lacks a fixed completion timeline. The 13 affected tokens include LDO (Lido’s native token), EIGEN (EigenLayer’s token), ATOM (Cosmos), NEO, GT, JUP, KAVA, NEXO and others. Small balances face additional pressure from a 5-dollar-equivalent minimum withdrawal and variable network fees. Japanese yen (JPY) balances will be automatically converted to USDT with a 5% fee deduction.
