The model passed a code generation test by building a playable browser game in 2 minutes and 13 seconds, a decisive improvement over version 3.6 which failed to produce any working file. During logical reasoning tests, the model failed by giving 17 minutes instead of 10 on a bridge puzzle, and by producing creative writing that was clearly identifiable as AI-generated. The model excels at executing detailed specifications and maintaining structure, but falls short in creativity and non-mathematical reasoning. At its current price, Gemini 3.7 Flash is 85 percent cheaper than GPT-5.6 Sol, but free models like Qwopus3.5-27B-v3 produced better results in creative writing.
