Planning for the Cardano Dijkstra era hard fork is on track with a two-phase implementation. Phase 1, featuring nested transactions and Linear Leios, is targeted for the end of 2026, while Phase 2 with Peras is scheduled for Q2 2027. Amaru, an alternative Cardano node implementation in Rust, is making significant progress and is expected to begin block production on mainnet by November 2026. Additionally, a technical update to the Cardano Constitution is planned to incorporate the new protocol parameters for the Dijkstra era.
