Bitcoin miners’ AI pivot loses Wall Street’s wow factor

Bitcoin miners pivoting to artificial intelligence and high-performance computing are no longer receiving the same investor recognition as before. According to an analysis by Blocksbridge Consulting covering 25 AI infrastructure deals announced between June 2024 and August 2026, the average stock move on announcement day dropped from roughly 24% for early deals to about 10% for the most recent ones. The TEM AI Infrastructure Growth Index, which tracks publicly traded companies developing AI data center infrastructure businesses, has fallen approximately 28.5% from its June peak, reflecting growing market skepticism despite higher annualized revenue per contracted megawatt.
