ZEC fell 7.34% on October 22 after briefly trading above $1,300 during a rebound from around $1,100. At the time of the report, it was near $1,225, leaving the $1,190–$1,200 area as the immediate support zone. A break below that level could send the token back toward its recent lows around $1,100, while the $1,240–$1,260 and $1,320–$1,360 areas represent successive resistance zones. Meanwhile, the dollar value of outstanding ZEC futures contracts has retreated after approaching $3 billion. The Zcash Foundation released Zebra 7.0.0 ahead of the NU7 upgrade, expected around November 5, which is designed to reduce block times from 75 seconds to 25 seconds without changing daily issuance or the 21 million ZEC supply cap.
