Zano, a privacy-focused L1 blockchain, has confirmed its network is stable following an emergency hotfix and a one-month rollback executed on September 28 to patch an inflation vulnerability exploited by hackers. The team has committed to restoring all affected balances in full, though the verification process by exchanges will take additional time. According to the Freedom Dollar team behind the fUSD stablecoin, several million dollars worth of assets were exchanged for counterfeit fUSD during the exploit. ZANO’s price declined 36% to $5.5 over the past week, erasing key support levels established since 2026. Users must update their mobile wallets while third-party platforms need to audit a full month of transactions before reopening withdrawals and deposits.
