The XRP Ledger is on the verge of activating BatchV1_1, one of its most significant upgrades to date. About 68% of validators have now supported this amendment, which needs to reach an 80% threshold and maintain it continuously for two weeks to be activated. This functionality will allow developers to bundle up to eight transactions into a single one, making it easier to charge directly for services and unlocking many new use cases. Activation is not guaranteed before the end of September, as the two-week countdown resets if support falls below the required threshold. The original Batch amendment was disabled earlier this year after a critical bug was discovered.
