The PermissionDelegationV1_1 amendment went live on Oct. 8, allowing account owners to assign specific transaction permissions to other accounts without exposing their primary signing keys. According to an Oct. 7 RWA Foundation snapshot, XRPL’s year-to-date tokenized asset value growth reached $3.7 billion excluding stablecoins, outperforming BNB Chain ($3.5B), Stellar ($2.8B) and Solana ($2.2B). In July, Aviva Investors launched a tokenized share class of its US Dollar Liquidity Fund on XRPL with institutional custodian Komainu and tokenization infrastructure provider Licuido, with underlying assets held by BNY Mellon. The Atomic Batch amendment (BatchV1_1) also activated on Oct. 9, while ConfidentialTransfer, DynamicMPT and Sponsor upgrades still await validator approval to complete RippleX’s collateral plan.
