The XRP Ledger is about to receive its most significant upgrade in months with xrpld version 3.3.0, scheduled for release during the week of August 3-9. The update includes five major amendments: Confidential MPT with zero-knowledge proofs, BatchV1_1 for atomic execution of up to eight transactions, Permission Delegation for scoped signing authority, Sponsored Fees and Reserves for institutional fee coverage, and Dynamic MPT for post-creation token property adjustments. The Batch feature had been pulled in February 2026 following discovery of a critical signature validation flaw that could have allowed unauthorized transaction execution, though no funds were lost as the bug was caught before mainnet activation. Each amendment requires 80% approval from XRPL validators over two consecutive weeks before activation, with validator signaling being a key indicator of community alignment.
