XDC Network has launched XDC AI, a product combining the open x402 payment standard with gasless USDC settlement, enabling AI agents to pay for services without accounts or human sign-off. The x402 standard, introduced by Coinbase in 2025, revives the HTTP 402 status code to allow real-time stablecoin payments for API calls and data. XDC Tech, the network’s U.S.-based institutional arm, has integrated Bridge, a Stripe company, to strengthen its stablecoin settlement infrastructure. The network showcased its XDC AI marketplace at a New York event that drew more than 100 industry representatives. Founded in 2019 by XinFin, XDC Network is positioning itself as the settlement layer for the agentic economy.
