X has launched its Cashtag Partner Program in the US, allowing users to move from financial conversations on the platform directly to participating brokerages. At launch, supported brokerage partners include Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken and Coinbase. Cashtags on X turn ticker symbols into interactive destinations containing price information and related posts, now featuring a direct trading option through partner platforms. This initiative is part of X’s broader strategy to expand into financial services by building trading access around Cashtags, which have long been used on the platform to follow conversations about stocks and cryptocurrencies.
