Worldcoin longs get wrecked – And the data says more pain ahead

Worldcoin (WLD) dropped 11% in the early hours of September 24th when bull activity was at its highest. Traders sold $280.92 million worth of WLD in the perpetual market over 24 hours, resulting in a negative netflow of $41.45 million. On the Spot market, inflows reached $63.89 million with a positive netflow of $6.02 million, confirming that more investors are selling their positions than holding for the long term. Total liquidations amounted to $4.36 million, with long positions losing $4.32 million compared to shorts losing just $39,090, representing a ratio of $110.50 lost by longs for every $1 lost by shorts, illustrating the overwhelming dominance of short positions.
