World XYZ website goes down after launch traffic overload

World XYZ, a Solana-based decentralized prediction market, experienced a temporary website outage on September 9, 2026, hours after its public launch. Over one million users had signed up for the waitlist before the site opened. The team reassured users that funds were safe and the platform was functioning normally, with the outage being purely a traffic issue rather than a security concern. Since its initial launch on July 1, 2026 through Phantom wallet integration, the platform has created over 150,000 markets covering sporting events, political outcomes, and cryptocurrency price movements. The prediction market uses binary yes/no contracts priced on a 0 to 1 dollar scale, settled in CASH, Phantom’s native stablecoin.
