World Liberty Financial, the DeFi protocol linked to Donald Trump, launched a governance vote on Monday proposing a rewards program for WLFI token holders. The program requires participants to lock their tokens for at least 180 days and cast a direct vote on at least one proposal every 90 days, or forfeit their rewards. If approved, the initiative targets an October 1 launch date. Rewards will be dynamically funded from ecosystem revenues rather than fixed emissions, with a 5% voting power cap per participant. WLFI currently trades between $0.056 and $0.06, with a market cap of roughly $1.8 billion on a total supply of 100 billion tokens.
