An early Ethereum holder sold 3,000 ETH for more than $7.2 million after buying them nine years ago at $18.83 each, generating a 128x return. Other longstanding addresses deposited 6,369 ETH, valued at about $16 million, into Kraken, while a participant in the 2015 ICO transferred 13,330 ETH worth more than $36 million to Coinbase. The latter had received 170,000 ETH for $0.31 per token during the initial sale. In August, another ICO investor transferred 2,000 ETH to Coinbase for a value of $3.77 million after an initial $622 investment, representing a gain of more than 6,000x.
