The 73-year-old serial entrepreneur, whose net worth was estimated at over $75 million by Forbes at the time of the sale, launched Love.Life, a health and longevity club in Los Angeles in 2024. Memberships cost between $400 per month and $28,500 per year depending on the level of services. He shares three tips for a successful entrepreneurial second act: be patient, learn from your mistakes, and invite customer feedback. Mackey acknowledges that Love.Life hasn’t taken off as quickly as hoped, but notes that Whole Foods took 14 years to reach 12 stores before expanding to over 500.
