White hat hackers managed to rescue $500,000 in NFTs following an exploit of the Floor Protocol. Former CEO FreeLunchCapital stated that the protocol faced liquidity issues and organizational changes that left parts of the NFT division unmanaged. The overall NFT market capitalization climbed to around $2 billion in late April and early May before falling back to $1.4 billion. CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club remain the two largest NFT collections with market capitalizations of approximately $560 million and $150 million respectively.
