Valinor Digital, a firm founded by two former Blackstone private credit executives, has launched a tokenized fund investing in publicly traded business development companies. The Valinor BDC Exposure Fund, trading under the ticker VBDC, operates on Superstate’s blockchain infrastructure and offers daily subscriptions and redemptions, a feature rarely seen in traditionally illiquid private credit. The firm raised 25 million dollars in a seed round led by Castle Island Ventures. This initiative allows qualified purchasers to access a private credit return profile without the usual illiquidity constraints, while backing the portfolio with real assets such as corporate loans and equity positions rather than volatile crypto collateral.
