The U.S. Treasury sanctioned four people and 41 entities supporting, according to the government, Prince Group, a Cambodian conglomerate accused of running scam compounds that employ trafficked workers to steal funds through cryptocurrency investment and romance scams. The measures target offshore companies, nominee owners and administrators who allegedly helped the group’s executives conceal assets and evade sanctions imposed in October 2025 and June 2026. Among those sanctioned are Qiu Yong, who allegedly controls companies in the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong, and He Yujing, the wife of executive Chen Bo, to whom he allegedly transferred ownership of his Tokyo mansion. OFAC also designated Chui Kok Wa, a Malaysian based in Madagascar who allegedly led a scam network that defrauded Americans of more than $400,000 in cryptocurrency and through other technologies. The United States is seeking the forfeiture of about $14 billion in Bitcoin linked to the group, while Prince Group denies the allegations.
