The National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) has changed its position on the CLARITY Act from opposition to « neutral. » The US law enforcement group previously had concerns about provisions regarding crypto mixers that could impair authorities’ ability to trace transactions. The bill passed the House of Representatives in July 2025 and awaits a Senate vote scheduled for September 15.
