TSMC is reportedly considering a second major US manufacturing campus near Dallas, Texas. The facility could include up to six chip fabrication plants, each costing at least $20 billion, bringing total investment to tens of billions of dollars. The project reportedly hinges on the extension of a 35% advanced-manufacturing tax credit under the CHIPS Act, set to expire at the end of 2026. This expansion would supplement TSMC’s existing $265 billion commitment in Arizona. US customers accounted for approximately 75.64% of TSMC’s wafer revenue in the first half of 2026, with Nvidia, Apple, and AMD among its key clients.
