Its known infrastructure is considerably smaller: Project Clover in Finland targets about 150 MW, while a planned Brazilian project is expected to begin with roughly 300 MW. In January 2026, control of TikTok’s US entity passed to a consortium led by Oracle, with Silver Lake and MGX involved and ByteDance retaining a minority stake. If pursued, the additional capacity could flow to Oracle’s cloud infrastructure and data centers, intensifying competition for electricity and grid connections. Site announcements, utility filings, and electricity purchase or capacity contracts will be the key signals to watch.
