At the fifth edition of the Plan ₿ Forum, held in Lugano on October 23 and 24, 2026, Italian company G Bionics demonstrated a humanoid robot running Tether’s QVAC embedded AI platform. The GENE.01 robot processed visual and tactile sensor data directly on board without relying on a remote server, aiming to reduce latency and preserve sensor-data privacy. Tether invested €70 million in Generative Bionics’ seed funding round in December 2025 as part of its strategy of backing decentralized infrastructure. However, no independently verified performance metrics were published, and the previous edition of the Plan ₿ Forum had attracted more than 4,600 attendees.
