An independent committee cleared Super Micro Computer of any fraud or irregularities after analyzing over 4.1 terabytes of data and conducting 68 interviews. The investigation, initiated at the request of former auditor EY which resigned in October 2024, examined 52 specific sales transactions and found no elements contradicting the company’s stated accounting practices. On the export control question, no evidence was found of attempts to circumvent regulations. This announcement caused the share price to surge by 14% to 29%. The Board appointed a new Chief Accounting Officer and initiated a transition to a new Chief Financial Officer.
