Stretched Profits and Cooling Demand Put Bitcoin Rally on Pause — For Now: Report

Share

Bitcoin recently stood at $82,839, down nearly 4% over a seven-day period, after surging to $87,251 the previous week. According to CryptoQuant’s report, short-term traders holding coins for one to three months are sitting on average unrealized profits of about 33%, the highest since December 2024, which has historically tempted investors to sell. Holders realized 25,700 BTC in profit in a single day last week, the largest single day of 2026. The report identifies three support levels at $80,000, $71,000 and $67,000 where a correction could find a floor. As long as these levels hold, CryptoQuant considers a pullback to be healthy consolidation within a young bull market rather than a trend reversal.
