These agents learn user preferences and collect data, which explains why they are unavailable in regions with strict data privacy laws such as the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the UK. The company also unveiled a new $500 monthly plan with the highest usage limits, while the $200 Pro plan saw its limits reduced without any price drop. The new GPT-6.1 Sol model is offered at one-fifth the price of the flagship GPT-6 Astra model, at $2 per million input tokens. OpenAI now serves over 1.2 billion weekly users and 2.5 million businesses.
