Strategy is reportedly among the crypto issuers that have not objected to OKXICE tokenizing their shares through a joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange. The platform plans to trade tokenized U.S. National Market System stocks around the clock starting on September 17, 2026. From an initial list of roughly 63 securities, the number of issuers filing objections rose from 9 to between 50 and 56, representing 70% to 80% of the list. Companies that remained silent include Strategy, Robinhood, Coinbase, Circle and Securitize, while Microsoft, Alphabet and JPMorgan challenged the project. Objections centered on pricing concerns, liquidity fragmentation and issuers losing control, potentially favoring tokenization launched or approved directly by companies.
