US stock futures were nearly flat Tuesday evening as investors awaited Wednesday’s release of the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) index, the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge, alongside Nvidia’s quarterly earnings. Economists polled by Dow Jones expect a 0.1% month-over-month increase and a 3.6% year-over-year rise in the PCE index. Nvidia, with a market cap exceeding $5 trillion, is projected to report adjusted earnings of $2.10 per share on revenue of $92.18 billion for the second quarter, nearly double last year’s levels. The 10-year Treasury yield fell nearly 8 basis points Tuesday, after hitting multiyear highs last week. Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh is scheduled to speak Friday at the annual Jackson Hole symposium.
