Stanley Druckenmiller dumps Broadcom, follows Berkshire into Alphabet with $120M bet

Stanley Druckenmiller completely liquidated his Broadcom position through his Duquesne Family Office, ending a buying strategy that began in 2023. In its place, he established a new position of approximately 336,300 Class A shares in Alphabet, valued at $120 million at the time of the Q2 2026 13F filing. This move mirrors Berkshire Hathaway’s strategy, which added approximately $17 billion to its Alphabet stake during the same quarter, tripling its total holdings to around $38 billion. These moves reflect a major institutional trend toward AI infrastructure plays, with Alphabet becoming one of Berkshire’s largest positions.
